Zim won’t get support after Zanu PF ‘steals’ victory
Zimbabwean politician and former finance minister, Tendai Biti has reportedly stated that they are going to fight against “rigged election results” after the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) announced a landslide victory for the ruling Zanu PF.
This comes after Biti vowed to make the country of Zimbabwe ungovernable if the MDC Alliance lost.
“The fascists are trying to steal this election, but we won’t accept it”
“Our data shows we have won by 61 percent; Nelson Chamisa has won 61 percent of the votes”
“People don’t vote for a presidential candidate of one party and not for the MPs of that party. So it’s called cheating”
Biti contemptuously dismissed the assessment of some analysts that the opposition made some costly mistakes.
