World’s ‘Superpowers’ Join Forces Against China Over Coronavirus

The US, the UK, France, and Germany go against China over Coronavirus.

On Saturday, the United States of America President Donald Trump sparked a worldwide outrage against China amid assertions China appears to be window-dressing the true scale of the pandemic.

Trump raised the prospect that China might have deliberately caused the outbreak of the deadly virus. He warned China would face consequences in case it was found guilty and “knowingly responsible” for the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Speaking to reporters, he said:

“It could have been stopped in China before it started and it wasnt, and the whole world is suffering because of it…..If it was a mistake, as mistake is a mistake. But if they were knowingly responsible, then there should be consequences.”

Many other superpowers joined in investigations over the Chinese lack of transparency amid claims that the virus originated in a Wuhan virus laboratory and not the market place as previously reported.

In recent reports, Germany is said to have joined the UK, France and the US in attacks, with one of its large newspaper – Bild – issuing Beijing a £130billion invoice it owes to Berlin over the impacts the virus has had on that country.

In the US, some GPO lawmakers have drafted a bill that would allow Americans to sue the Chinese government over coronavirus damages.

As scrutiny amounts over Trump’s lackadaisical response to the outbreak, China, where the virus originated, has been blamed over the deadly virus that has claimed nearly 40 000 lives in the US. To date, China has recorded 82,735 cases and 4,632 deaths.

Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain are amongst the world’s hard-hit countries with the highest cases in the world.

According to Express, the enormous Germany invoice sparked outrage in China. China claims these accusations are unfounded and “stir up xenophobia and nationalism”.
