Watch police beat curfew violators – ‘If we catch you after 6 “mucharohwa nezveusiku”‘

Heavy police and army presence to enforce lockdown measures announced by President Emerson Mnangagwa has seen curfew violators fall victim of br_tality.

At Markert Square in Harare CBD, police moved around in cars warning people of danger in getting caught implying that they will beat anyone caught.

In a video that has been circulating on social media, police are heard saying anyone caught “acharohwa nezveusiku” (will be eaten up).

True to their words, some were unfortunate to get caught and received a heavy beating. Watch:

A spike in covid-19 cases, mainly local cases has forced President Mnangagwa to tighten lockdown measures.

On Wednesday 2034 Coronavirus cases in total were recorded and these include 214 new cases and 22 new recoveries.

The 214 new positively confirmed cases include 123 returnees from South Africa, 1 returnee from Zambia and 90 local cases who are now al isolated.
