Warriors Recover From COVID-19, Resume Training Today

Zim slump to worst position in 2018 on the latest FIFA Rankings

The 15 warriors and technical team members who tested positive for COVID-19 late last month, have reportedly recovered and the boys will resume their training in preparation for the CHAN tournament this afternoon.

This was revealed by ZIFA on popular microblogging site Twitter in a post that said:

The Warriors are ready to resume ball work All but one of the 15 members of our CHAN team who previously tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered their Group training resumes this afternoon. Another test will be done on 12/01 ahead of departure for Cameroon on the 14th

Meanwhile, some players, like Silas Songani, who was part of the FC Platinum Squad that went to Dar Es Salam for a match against Simba SC, will miss the tournament as they tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
