War Against Residents As Police Uses Tear Gas To Enforce Lock-Down
Police has declared war on Harare residents and is now using tear gas in the name of enforcing the new measures of covid-19 lockdown.
The spate of skirmishes between the is happening in the CBD, Epworth and Harare South suburbs.
Police in these said areas is rounding up innocent citizens and beat them up before firing tears gas at them.
This happening around 7 pm well before the 10 pm curfew time.
In Harare’s Epworth suburb Friday evening rounded up innocent citizens and beat them up before throwing tears gas at them.
This happened at Epwoth’s Domoramwari shopping centre at around 7 pm.
The police had clashed with citizens whom they were accusing of contravening covid-19 lockdown regulations after they (residents) had challenged them that lockdown curfew starts at 10 pm.
Citizens were roaming around the shopping centre when the skirmishes happened.
