Triumph Over Tragedy, St Charles Lwanga Pupils Now In Mutare
St Charles Lwanga pupils are now in Mutare after being evacuated from their school when Cyclone Idai destroyed their premises leaving 2 students and a security guard dead and others injured.
The battle-weary students had to trek for 15km carrying the bodies of their fallen colleagues before getting help from the army who then took them to Chipinge.
The clearly traumatized students are now in Mutare where they held a mass and prayer session while they wait for the next move.
It has been a bittersweet 3 days for them indeed.
