TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT… Baba Harare explains video scenes
Video scenes of musician Baba Harare’s forth-coming video Guzuzu have leaked.
The singer, who enjoys rave reviews with his jiti song Hat Yemurara which has an accompanying video, appears to have mastered a knack of producing videos laden with humour.
And in his forth-coming video due for release on August 31, Baba Harare roped in actress Dalma Chiwereva.
A tried and tested actress with a lot of experience in film and television, Dalma’s chemistry with Baba Harare really worked in their favour, says the singer.
However, the pair is likely to get a ‘stick’ from some critics ‘overstepping’ a bit in a bid to win hearts of fans.
In one of the scenes, Dalma is seen ‘grinding’ her rear on Baba Harare who seems to be enjoying the act.
In an interview, Baba Harare simply described the scenes as art.
“I don’t have a problem with the scenes portrayed in the video because it’s purely art,” said Baba Harare.
“I won’t give a damn if some feel I was too good for comfort; I was simply doing my joke.
“I don’t see anything wrong with those scenes because we were simply doing what we love most; hence people should not judge us harshly.”
Asked whether his spouse was aware of some of the scenes, Baba Harare explained:
“I don’t have to explain everything I do; she knows very well that this is my career. I didn’t commit a sin.
“I used close to $500 for that video and I am glad that I will recover the money which I used. I decided to wear simple clothes because it suits my story line. There was no need for me to overdress,” he added.
