“The System That Got Us Here Has NO CAPACITY To Move Us Forward,” – ED’s Advisor

Pastor Shingi Munyeza who is a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (PAC) which advises President Emmerson Mnangagwa has continued to attack the ruling ZANU PF which he said is responsible for the deteriorating state of affairs.

He speaks when Zimbabwe is submerged under an acute socio-economic crisis characterised by lack of food, medicine, fuel and other essentials. He tweeted:

1.We can’t move backwards

2.We can’t move forward

3.We can’t move sideways

THE THINKING, THE VALUES & THE SYSTEMS that got us here have no CAPACITY nor ABILITY to move us forward WE NEED A NEW “VEHICLE” New wine & new wineskins Matthew 9:17 #Zimbabwe

Munyeza in his recent sermon predicted that the regime, which he likened to the Egyptian Pharaoh in the Bible, was going to fall very soon.

While some say Munyeza has finally seen the light, some are sceptical saying by virtue of being an advisor to President Mnangagwa, he is part of the system which was already bad when he agreed to be part of it.

Some even go further to accuse him of using his sermons as a strategy to create false hope for the masses, to buy time for the ruling ZANU PF.
