Senior MDC Activist Dies

Chivi Central MDC Youth Assembly Chair Chibhebhe is no more

At a time when the struggle for change has reached a crescendo as an assembly, we have been looking at continuing working with tried and tested leaders like Chibhebhe.

During the 2008 one man run-off, ward 11 where the Chibhebhe family hail, in particular, managed to thwart ZANU PF violent machinery.

Through the visionary leadership of people like Chibhebhe ZANU PF failed to set torture bases.

And as an assembly we are saddened by such a loss of human resources at a critical time when we need to confront the ZANU PF regime in rural areas.

At one time after the inclusive government overzealous soldiers battered him at Chivi Growth point. His only crime was his unwavering support for the people’s struggle.

We would like to console the Chibhebhe family on the untimely death of Cde Chibhebhe.

May the family find comfort in the Lord, in a trying time like this. We would like to pass our condolences to Chivi Central MDC structures, let’s soldier on comrades and ensure we deliver the wish of Cde Chibhebhe.
