Schools thank Passion for donation
School Authorities and parents of pupils at Murape Secondary School and Murape Primary Schools have showered praises on the flamboyant preacher, prophet Passion Java on the donations that he is making in improving the learning conditions of students at these schools.
The youthful man of the cloth has for the past three months been supplying stationery to these schools in a bid to provide conducive learning conditions to students and so far more than $20.000 has been used in purchasing books that the students are using.
The school’s Development Committee (SDC) chairperson for Murape Secondary School Bernard Mutyavaviri said they are grateful with the donations that the prophet Passion has made to the school.
“We are so grateful for what the prophet has done for our school, we have been desperate as a school because we lacked basic things such as exercise books but through prophet Passion’s donation the challenge has been lessened.
“The books donation we received was a huge boost to our learners, the prices of stationary just shot up beyond most parents reach such that the prophet really gave them a starting shot.
“The prophet is very popular with learners here and the donation was just icing on the cake,” he added.
A Murape Primary School official also passed the same sentiments and went on to call for more donations from the prophet.
“We do not take the donation done by prophet Passion lightly because our students have benefited a lot from it, we have more than a thousand students here and they all managed to get exercise books we thank the prophet for showing such love.
“However, we are now appealing to him if possible that he may also consider buying textbooks for us because we no longer have enough and the students are finding it very hard to buy because they are now very expensive,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prophet Passion’s Personal Assistant Ashel Muchuchu said his donation was an ongoing program where he is targeting schools with less privileged kids.
“As you might know prophet Passion grew up in Chitungwiza and Seke is also home to him, so the donations he has made to these schools is a way of giving back to his community.
“We will keep on offering our helping hand to schools with disadvantaged kids through the Lily Java Foundation which is owned by prophet Passion and his wife prophetess Lily,” he said.
