PSMAS Hikes Subscriptions By 80 Percent
Premier Medical Aid Society’s (PSMAS) has been given the go-ahead to increase its tariffs by 80 percent.
This was revealed by Health Services Board (HSB) Executive Director, Ruth Kaseke who said that PSMAS was allowed to review tariffs in line with the prevailing economic challenges which is characterized by hyperinflation and acute foreign currency shortages. She said:
Please be advised that Treasury has approved the review of monthly subscriptions in line with the prevailing economic environment.
The development will result in adult dependants subscriptions being reviewed to ZWL$45 per month per dependent, for the main plan.
