Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance leader Walter Magaya has reportedly teamed up with a former farmer of the land and a local legislator and they have invaded a mine belonging to regional women in mining representative Blessing Hungwe in Mazoe, Mining Zimbabwe reports.
According to the publication, Magaya who is reportedly the major shareholder and the holder of the mining certificate of the mine knew that Hungwe owned the mine but he wanted the legislator and the former farmer to push her out so that he can take over the mine.
Zimbabwe Miners Federation ZMF President Ms. Henrietta Rushwaya, when contacted for comment, said they were monitoring the situation:
We are closely following and monitoring the events as they unfold. As always, we shall safeguard and protect the interests of our ZMF members and in this case, it is Blessing Hungwe who is the holder of the mining certificate.
