Trial dates for Marry Mubaiwa in the matters she is accused of externalizing millions of dollars and attempting to murder Vice President Chiwenga have been set for October 18 and November 1 respectively.
Mubaiwa appeared before Harare magistrate Stanford Mambanje on Thursday and ordered her to return to court on set trial dates.
Mubaiwa’s lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa told the court that the trial dates are subject to a medical examination that was ordered on her previous appearance in court before magistrate Noel Mupeyiwa.
This follows her application to have the trial delayed due to ill health.
