‘Only God Can Help Zimbabwe’
An opinionist writing for the Daily News said only God can help Zimbabwe as the socio-economic situation in the country deteriorates.
Addressing hopelessness and despair that has engulfed the air in Zimbabwe the opinionists said the time to look to God to turn the fortunes of our country.
Living in Zimbabwe is becoming difficult with each day. Looking at the situation in the country I am now convinced most of us have come to realize that it is only God that can change the course or fortunes of our country. As Zimbabweans, I believe we have the education to turn the country’s fortunes around but I am sure we have realized that there is a superior power than ourselves
Well, I want to encourage you today. Our God is a God of hope. Our helplessness, hopelessness, despair, doubt, and fear are grievous to the God of promise who has never failed to fulfill His word. There is an unchangeable law of spiritual life that when one puts their trust in man it leads to death but when one puts their trust in God it leads to life.
However many people including the opposition leader believe that dialogue is the only viable solution to solve a myriad of problems ravaging the country.
