Thirteen Zimbabwean nurses were on Tuesday taken to court following their arrest on Monday at Harare Hospital.

The nurses were arrested for taking part in a peaceful demonstration against poor remuneration.

A Zimbabwean nurse is currently earning the equivalent of US$30 per month.
