Nox turns to philanthropy
URBAN Grooves crooner Nox Guni through his Ice n Roses company together with Bruce Moyo’s Game Changers catering company will this coming Sunday host a Family Fun Day in Cosmo City at Nootgedacht Primary School, north of Johannesburg.
The aim of the fun day is to raise money to assist less privileged kids in the community some of whom cannot afford to pay their school fees. Headlining the event will be Nox, Trevor Dongo and Buffalo Souljah
“As artists we should play our part in uplifting our societies hence we came up with this idea which we hope will be the biggest fun day ever where Zimbabweans can meet and socialise. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity and we are grateful for the support we have received so far,” said Nox yesterday.
The event will start at 9am and expected to finish at 6pm. Transport will be provided for free from selected pick up points in Joburg CBD, Kempton Park, Soweto and Pretoria. Entry fees are a paltry R50 for adults while kids pay R25. There are various packages that include all-inclusive VIP entry and meals.
Comedian Baba Tencen will be performing and the event has the support of socialites such as Abra Simmz and Vlad Duk of DCG. Top entertainers and DJs such as Tyfah, Grooher, TFloz, Vicious, Firespitter and the One Love Movement crew will also be there.
It promises to be a day to remember for the thousands of Zimbabweans who reside in Cosmo City and other surrounding areas.
