MP’S DAD COLLAPSES, DIES AS HE PREPARES TO PARTY
Today was one bittersweet day. After planning hard for the celebrations of the new dispensation, I received some sad news.
I was all fired up and laterally five mins from the venue of my event in my constituency when I heard the news that my dad had just collapsed and passed on.
I cried my heart out but felt that with the thousands of people gathered to celebrate with me, the show had to go on. Save for a few colleagues, who knew what had just happened, I put on a brave face, took the occasional breaks to cry my heart out in my car… I must say I took the time to celebrate my Dad’s life at the event.
I thank Ammara Brown, Jean Masters and Sniper Storm who came out to perform and comfort me.
My dad had been sick for a while and I take it as a well deserved rest. Thank you Hon Minister Kazembe, Henrietta Rushwaya, Acie Lumumba, Cde Gomwe and Cde Karikoga Kaseke for taking time out to come to the show and comfort me.
Terence Mukupe, Deputy Finance Minister and MP.
