Radio and television presenter and actor Moshe Ndiki has broken his silence surrounding the allegations of physical abuse in his relationship with a musician, Phelo Bala.
Moshe took to Twitter to release a statement following reports that Phelo obtained an interim court order after he was attacked by Moshe.
The celebrity couple was arguing over the level of alcohol consumption when Phelo got a beat and landed in the hospital. These are allegations which Moshe also denied in a statement.
“The article made a number of allegations regarding my Phelo and the current existence of protection order applications.
These are matters of a private nature and I’ve been advised because there are court proceedings I cannot reveal anything, however at this present time I would like to state that I have no way abused Phelo and I have proof to this effect” read the statement.
“Anyone who has dealt with domestic violence knows how difficult it is to speak about their experiences and the shame attached to being a victim”, added Moshe.
He also said that he was comforted in the knowledge that friends and family know of Phelo’s “aggressive nature”.

Phelo did however dispute Moshe’s statement “The first lie was that ‘we are together when you got the call from the newspaper’ the second is that I am ‘your Phelo’ I can’t afford a PR spin so I will leave it with this: Lies can disguise themselves as truth but eventually the truth comes to light”.
The first lie was that “we are together when you got the call from the paper”. The second is that I am “your Phelo”. I can’t afford a PR spin so I’ll leave it with this:
