Mnangagwa to open $533m Kariba South power project

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to commission the $533 million Kariba South hydropower station expansion project next month.

Chinese contractor, Sino Hydro Corporation, completed work on the project last week. Work started on November 10, 2014.

In other news….ED’S NECK TIE AUCTIONED FOR $15 000

President Emmerson Mnangagwa was taken by surprise when a director of ceremonies at the CEO Africa Round Table auctioned his neck tie for $15 000 in Victoria Falls.

He was later handed over a Donald Trump campaign tie to replace the one that had been auctioned as a symbol of the Zimbabwe’s re-engagement with the international community.
