President Emmerson Mnangagwa is addressing the nation on the state of the coronavirus induced lockdown.
The president previously extended the lockdown indefinitely.
Addressing the nation this Friday, he said it was essential for the country to open up the economy to ensure there is the creation of jobs.
He added that the moratorium on rentals has been lifted and the arrears have to be paid in a period of six months. He also urged those in the formal sector to register their businesses with relevant authorities in compliance with laws in the country.
