Miss World Zim speaks out being slu_t shamed
Newly crowned Miss World Zimbabwe, Hajirah Belinda Potts (21) who managed to shrug off stiff competition from thirteen other contestants, has opened up on her journey throughout the pageant.
Speaking to News Day, the Masvingo bred beauty spoke on rumored allegations as well as a lot of culture stereotypes concerning modelling and how she handled it.
“I have been labelled a prosti_tute, especially in Masvingo but I do not believe that and would want to invite them to boot-camps so they can understand how much we work and the discipline that we have.
They should just understand that pageants help girls get to be themselves, advocate and show their beauty and voice out their opinions. Modelling also provides good entertainment to people. Those people need to be invited to pageants like Miss World Zimbabwe, which are classic and elegant”
Potts promises to give back to communities that need help, and she will be starting with her hometown.
