Otilia Njitimani, an education school inspector in Chiredzi district, has died.
She died last evening after complaining of chest pains. She was 51. She passed on at Chiredzi Medical Centre.
Njitimani’ daughter Gladys confirmed her mother’s death in an interview with The Mirror and said burial arrangements are yet to be announced.
“She developed chest pains which triggered high blood pressure and she became unconscious for the past week,” said Gladys.
Provincial Education Director (PED) Zedius Chitiga described Njitimani as a hardworking and selfless person.
Gladys also said that Njitimani tested negative to Covid-19 and died barely 10 months after her husband died.
Njitimani is survived by three children.
