MDC Alliance comrades have arrived at the Rotten Row court.
While the trio appears in court, the Harare CBD has been sealed off, Police claims today is a holiday and none is allowed to enter the central business district.
Harare West legislator Joanna Mamombe and her alleged accomplices who are accused of publishing false statements prejudicial to the State will know their fate today when the presiding magistrate passes her bail ruling.
Allegations are that on May 13, the trio and other members of their political party gathered at Warren Park 1 shops demonstrating against the recalling of some members of their party from the from Parliament and the alleged misuse of Covid-19 funds by the government.
On the same date, they advised their lawyers, friends, and family members through texts and calls that they had been arrested and were at Harare Central Police Station.
The State alleges that the trio was physically seen by members of the public who will testify.
