Mbappe makes major PSG ‘decision’ amid Liverpool transfer rumours’
Kylian Mbappe has reportedly made a decision on his future amid apparent interest from Liverpool.
The Reds continue to be tentatively linked with a move for the Paris Saint-Germain forward, whose future continues to dominate plenty of headlines.
Mbappe joined PSG in the summer of 2017 from Monaco, but has just one year left on his current deal.
There have been claims that negotiations are underway with PSG over an extension, with the Ligue 1 club desperate to keep hold of the 22-year-old.
However, according to Marca , Mbappe has informed PSG that he does not intend to extend his stay in Paris and will look for a fresh challenge.
Mbappe has returned to Paris for pre-season training after his holiday following France’s involvement in the European Championships.
France were knocked out by Switzerland in the last-16 stage of the competition, with Mbappe missing the decisive penalty in the shootout.
Liverpool continue to be linked with signing Mbappe, as do Real Madrid who are said to be long-time admirers.
Mbappe signed for PSG in a £166m deal, but whether the French club would demand a similar or greater fee now four years on with just 12 months left on his contract remains to be seen.
