Marriage Broke My Mom, says Chiyangwa’s Daughter

Chiyangwa’s Daughter ‘Vanessa’ has dished out her father’s dirty laundry for everyone to see.

Vanessa explained her mothers pain in a lengthy Instagram post which Zim247 news is in possession of.

Below is an unedited Instagram post by mrsc_blessed ‘Vanessa’

Self-sabotage was a second nature to me. Having seen my mother being the submissive, the loving one, the one who was quiet and caring and displayed respect regardless of the hand she was dealt. I grew up hating words like submission, and the notion of a proverbs 31 woman. I swore never to be this kind of woman because i saw what it did to her..it only broke her, hurt her and no matter how much she did, each year there was a new woman, new child. And because of the person my father was it was never a secret. So everyone knew.. I can’t imagine how that felt.. I never want to.. People assume wealth fixes everything but it doesn’t.. Hebrews 13:5 says “Keep your life free from love of money”, well… let’s say the love of money overcame my father. I would see our mother fight for us in so many ways, staying even when it didn’t make sense to us, holding in her pain and tears from us so we wouldn’t see her hurting..but I knew.. This vicious cycle of abuse lasted over the years and even after they finally divorced when he finally let her go and she wanted to walk away with nothing, he somehow still had a grip on her. This form of abuse hardened my heart to love. PS.. I want to thank my mother for everything she did for us.. I could never pretend to understand how she went through for us.. I love you and do grateful that God have you beauty for ashes!
