Mapeza not changing
NORMAN Mapeza says he will not change his approach when his FC Platinum sides travel to face Orlando Pirates on Friday.
FC Platinum are left with two games in Group B but are already out after failing to win in their opening four fixtures.
Mapeza said they still have a lot to play for.
“When we play against Orlando Pirates we will not change. Our approach will remain the same and we will play each and every game to win.
“We know our position, and that will not make us lose focus in our remaining games,” he said.
FC Platinum drew 0-0 against the Buccaneers in the reverse fixture at Barboufields in front of a huge crowd.
Orlando Pirates ,being one of the biggest clubs in South Africa command a big following in ABSA, Mapeza says he is not worried about the crowd since they also had the same in their first meeting.
“I have been watching Pirates and I don’t think they will have a lot of support, compared to the crowd that was behind them when we played them in Bulawayo.
“So we’re not worried with that 12th man,” he said.
Mapeza says his players always have the zeal to win and emphasized that he will not change the team to give opportunities to players who didn’t feature in other games.
“The zeal and desire will always be there, to play each and every game to win.
“We can’t just change the whole team because we are out of this competition,” he said.
