Manchester United emerged from their opening Champions League group-phase fixture with a win after beating Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in the French capital.
Bruno Fernandes gave United the lead from the spot in the first half. Anthony Martial’s own-goal after the break pulled the hosts level before Marcus Rashford scored a late winner.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made three changes to the team that beat Newcastle on Saturday, with Alex Telles, Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial coming in for Harry Maguire, Juan Mata and Daniel James.
United were awarded a penalty when Martial was felled in the box and Fernandes converted at the second time of asking, with the officials ordering a retake after the Portuguese’s first effort was saved by the encroaching Keylor Navas.
United had the better of the first half but PSG grew into the game in the second. Martial’s own-goal made it 1-1 but Rashford won it for United in Paris again.
