The 40-year-old man estimates that his collection was worth US$29 000 and is demanding US$87 000, triple the estimated value of the collection.
In a case with a rather strange twist, a man from Indiana in the United States of America has dragged his parents to court, suing them for throwing out his extensive collection of adult magazines and films.
According to the Guardian, the man filed the lawsuit in Michigan last week alleging that he was forced to temporarily move into his parent’s place in 2016 following a divorce.
He goes on to say that when he got a place of his own 10 months later, his parents delivered his things to his new place in Muncie, Indiana. However, the complainant was shocked to discover that 12 boxes of his private magazines and movies were missing.
His parents, on the other hand, are not denying that they threw out the collection. In fact, the man’s father sent him an e-mail in which he said, “I did you a big favour by getting rid of all this stuff.” The case is yet to be heard.
