Man Dies Attempting To Jump ‘Hwindi Style’ On Moving Kombi
67-year-old Harrison Ngwenya from Gwanda pulled off a fatal gamble by attempting to board a moving commuter omnibus driven by Given Magabo (25) of Spitzkop North area.
Ngwenya then missed the step falling between the commuter omnibus and its trailer and was dragged for about 15 metres leaving him dead on the spot.
The incident occurred at around 6PM on Friday at the 35 km peg along the Gwanda-Maphisa Road near Lushongwe Business Centre.
Magabo was arrested and is being charged with culpable homicide.
