KwaZulu-Natal is ready and prepared for COVID-19 third wave
JOHANNESBURG -KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala says his province is ready for the third wave of Covid-19.
He says they have revisited educational programs and prevention campaigns.
“We are ready, first we have started resuscitating educational programs that will create awareness on prevention and we are still and still pushing and appealing that let us all embrace non-pharmaceutical preventative measures,” he said.
Zikalala also says that they have established vaccination centres in each district because vaccinations will be administered by districts.
“Our plan for phase two includes vaccination in mass centres where we cater for the elderly and front line workers of various departments, we are doing so per district and in each district we have vaccination centres that have been established.”
