Kirsty Joins the looting gang, grabs Sabina Mugabe Son’s Farm

Zimbabwe’s Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry has been taken to court for trying to take over a 232-hectare farm owned by Robert Zhuwao the son of Sabina Mugabe.

Kirsty’s husband is said to have told the Zhuwaos that they have 30 days to leave according to the farm managers.

They haven’t produced any offer letter according to their lawyers. The farm is only 232 hectares. Sabina Mugabe’s farm was also taken away.

Check below reactions from Zimbabweans:

Gift Ostallos SizibaThe case of @KirstyCoventry grabbing a farm is a clear sign that once you join the gravy train the fictitious narrative of reforming it from within is but a lame excuse. She looted Youthfund now she’s looting a farm. Fellow cdes know them for who they are. Fascists! #ZanupfMustGo

Lance Guma– How many of you thought Kirsty Coventry would descend to this level of embarrassment. From a global Olympic swimming legend to just another greedy farm invader in Zimbabwe.

Hopewell Chin’ono – In a shocking turn of events loaded with irony,

@KirstyCoventry is grabbing a farm from Robert Zhuwao, the son of national liberation heroine, Sabina Mugabe and nephew of the man who led the land reform program & founding father of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe!
Edmund Kudzayi Kirsty Coventry’s farm-grab is illuminating. The Olympian’s actions demonstrate that the collapse of societal values cuts across race, age, class and political affiliation. She’s taking what she can because the system has reduced her (us) to a primal state. We need a major jolt.
Wellence MujuruMinistry of Youth and Sports @KirstyCoventry what have you done for the youths besides repainting a Stadium and a swimming pool?
