A man from Shurugwi went berserk, burning property and assaulting his neighbour after discovering that the later was paying for and getting se_x from his well endowed wife.
Kudzaishe Bashoma (30) a gold panner from Dark City in Shurugwi discovered that his neighbor Abidon Giya (22) was allegedly paying his wife for se_x. He struck the complainant with an axe and threatened to kill him.
He then burnt the complainant’s property valued at over $1 000. The incident happened on Monday last week.
Bashoma appeared before Shurugwi resident magistrate Sangster Tavengwa facing charges of assault, making threats, and malicious damage of property and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, 3 months suspended for five years. Five months suspended if he pays $1 000 restitution and effective four months.
Bashoma pleaded guilty to all charges and told the court that he was angry to find out that someone who has a wife of his own was busy paying his wife for se_x. He said that he provided everything that the wife wanted in the house and wondered what more she wanted.
I still want my wife, we will work things out, he said.
It is the State case that on October 15, 2018 at around 6pm at Dark City in Shurugwi, Bashoma struck Giya once on the left palm with an axe after he suspected that he was having an affair with his wife. He went on to threaten to strike Abidon’s brother Abina with the same axe.
He then went on to take out all the property belonging to Abidon from his house and placed it outside and burnt it all. The property is worth $1 115.
