She opened up in her new single titled Tariro due to be launched online on June 28.
The launch starts at 7pm and it will be streamed live on Facebook.
Fellow artistes Takesure Zamar, Dr Tumi and Hle are set to take part in the concert dubbed The Hope Online Concert, thanks to Janet Manyowa Music.
Speaking through her manager Munyaradzi Manyowa, the most sought after diva’s camp said there was still hope despite the Covid-19 pandemic which has claimed many lives.
“We have been busy in the studio working on new stuff and one of the projects is a single titled Tariro that will be launched on June 28 online.
“The song of hope is based on Isiah 43 vs 2 and it applies now during the trying times that we are in like these.
“God remains our own source of hope now, especially with this pandemic,” said Manyowa.
Asked what they were missing as a result of the lethal coronavirus which has seen public gatherings being banned world over, Manyawa said:
“We were used to live audience and we really miss that atmosphere to be honest as we managed to engage our fans better.
“The atmosphere is no longer the same as the live audience is always needed in music.
“However, we are grateful to people who have managed to engage us for online shows, which have kept us busy in the studio for the greater part of lockdown.”
Unlike most artists, who have fallen in hard times, Monyowa’s camp was grateful for the diva who continues to win hearts of many.
“We are just grateful to the Lord because he has been providing and protecting us during such trying times.
“Besides music, Janet Manyowa is an accountant and by the grace of God, we are managing to fend four our family as well as relatives and band members.”
To date, Manyowa has two albums to her credit namely King of Glory and Grateful.
After launching her single new single Tariro, she is set to shift attention to her third album due for release soon, according to her camp.
