Four People Shot And Injured For Protesting, Police Smashing Doors To Arrest People
Four people are reported to have been shot and injured in Epworth suburb in Harare for taking part in the protests against the government.
According to NewsDay, 8 people have been arrested for taking part in the protests and the police are reported to be moving from house to house smashing in doors in order to arrest the people inside.
Various groups and individuals have called for a three day stay away from protest after President Emmerson Mnangagwa hiked the price of fuel by 150 per cent.
A number of businesses which had initially opened in the morning have closed shop after a Choppies shop was looted. Schools have also closed for the day and asked parents to come and collect their kids.
