Former Energy Minister Chasi’s Amapiano song teaser

Former Energy Minister Chasi’s Amapiano song teaser: Video. It appears Zimbabwe’s former Minister of Energy and Power Development Fortune Chasi is a man of many talents.

After winning the hearts of a majority of Zimbabweans after fixing the country’s load shedding issue, the former Energy Minister affectionately known as Chibabest has set his sights on being on everyone’s playlist come December.

If the snippet he shared on Twitter is anything to go by, the album which Chasi said will be released before Christmas, will be a scorcher.

This is not the first time the minister has released music. Chasi has recorded duets with Zimdancehall artistes Killer T, Guspy Warrior, and Soul Jah Love whom he featured on the song Zuva Ranhasi.

The former minister who is also a lawyer by profession recorded the song Life Haizi Easy with Guspy Warrior and Zimbabwe Ino featuring Killer T. As a result of his collaborations with Zimdancehall artists, the Mazowe South legislator assumed the moniker Mudhara Chasi.

He has also collaborated with Botswana based producer and musician Dr. Tawanda on the songs Child Marriages and Raramo Kubatana. Chasi also released a remix of the popular Second Chimurenga song Nzira Dzemasoja.

Chasi’s music career took a back seat when he assumed the demanding Energy and Power Development portfolio before he was fired this year.

It remains to be seen if Chasi’s latest Amapiano offering will be playing on every sound system in Zimbabwe come Christmas. Watch the teaser of the Amapiano song Fortune Chasi is set to release:
