EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe Is Laying Off Employees
EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe is planning to lay off some of its employees following the automation of essential business procedures that would make certain employees redundant.
The business said in a statement that it is working closely with affected employees, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure the process is collaborative, transparent, and in compliance.
According to EcoCash:
The shifting economic operating environment has prompted a strategic refocus as we seek to improve our company’s competitiveness.
This comes on the heels of the successful automation of our major business procedures. Regrettably, the procedure will result in a decrease in our total group worker complement.
