DARING ROBBER  BREWS A  SHOCKER , CONFESSES TO HAVING SEX WITH WITH A CORPSE

A daring robber pulled a shocker when he confessed that he did not only kill his victim, but went on to have se_x with the corpse after realising she had passed out.KILLER KOMBI DRIVER NABBED

The now deceased had got her stokvel money when on the day in question got midnight visitors who were demanding the money and refusal to hand it over marked her last day on earth.

Gladys Zembete of Murambi Village in Zvishavane was thoroughly assaulted by Tatenda Ngwenya (22) and Givemore Matumba (25) leaving her dead.

Despite their persistence, she refused to give them the money resulting in them beating her to death before ra_ping and dumping her body in a disused mine.

After failing to meet their target of robbing her of the money, they returned to her homestead and stole her property.

The deceased’s children were shocked to see the two men returning alone without their mother and after they had left they swiftly reported the matter to police.

On the following day, Zembete’s body was discovered in a disused mine shaft and investigations led to the arrest of Ngwenya who then implicated Matumba.

The two were arrested on a murder charge and were hauled before magistrate Shepherd Mjanja who remanded them in custody to 8 January.

They had their warned and cautioned statements to police confirmed with Ngwenya leaving the court shocked after revealing that he also had se_xual intercourse with the corpse.

For the State, prosecutor Stanley Ncube told the court that the now deceased got her stokvel money on 21 December, the same night she was attacked by the two accused men.

They assaulted her with open hands demanding the money and when she refused to give them, they beat her to death and threw her into a disused mine shaft where her body was found.

The deceased’s children made a police report and they identified Ngwenya resulting in his arrest and he implicated Matumba.

A torch and some discs were discovered at Ngwenya’s homestead.
