Chiwenga Rescued Jonathan Moyo, Details Emerge On Persecution
In a surprising twist, exiled former Cabinet Minister, Professor Jonathan Moyo, revealed that Vice-President, Constantino Chiwenga-one of the masterminds of the coup that culminated in Moyo’s exile- came to his rescue when at one time when he was facing persecution from other party members.
Speaking on microblogging site, Twitter, the former government official who is now a prominent government critic claimed that he had a horrible time when he had rejoined the government in 2013. Moyo revealed that other party members were hostile to him, including the late Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace.
