With Zimbabwe and mzansi having a close relationship for many years, it is no surprise that most of South Africa’s top talents were imported from the country. In this article, we will be looking at those celebrities who are Zimbabweans.
1. Sha Sha
Charmaine Shamiso Mpambiro, known as Shasha, was born on 13 July 1994. She was born in a place called Mutare. Shasha became popular after she was introduced to some S. A producer by a cab driver and that was where she made Collab’s with many amapiano artists.
2. Nadia nakai
Nadia Nakai Kandava, known as Nadia Nakai, was born on 18 May 1990. She is an award winning singer and rapper. She was born in South Africa by a Zimbabwean mother. She is the 1st female to sign to Cassper nyovest family tree.
3. Oskido
House and Kuwait legend Oskido was born on 23 November 1967. His father is Zimbabwean and his mother is South African. He grew up staying with his father, and after completing high school he moved to Mzansi in 1988 and worked in a family tuckshop. In 1992 he co-founded Kalama Jaimee.
4. Kim Jayde
Is a Zimbabwean modeler, TV presenter and MC, and is now based in Cape Town, South Africa. Kim was born in Harare in 1990. She relocated to mzansi after completing high school. She is now an award winning presenter and is going to the top.
5. Luthuli Dlamini
The celebrated actor was born in Zimbabwe and his family migrated to the UK. The actor would later return to Zimbabwe for his primary school then back to England for his university, the actor moved to South Africa after completing his studies to make a living as an actor.
He has appeared on almost every top South African soapie.
