BREAKING NEWS: Morton Jaffray waterworks shuts down

Harare’s water woes are set to worsen as the City’s water treatment plant, Morton Jaffray, has just stopped pumping water due to incapacitation.

$1,1bn required for water infrastructure

This was announced by Acting Mayor, Councillor Enock Mupamawonde, this morning. Harare city council environment management committee revealed that Council will be meeting with Government officials on the Shutdown at Morton Jaffray.

Last week treasury released ZWL37.4 million to the Harare City Council and foreign currency in a move aimed at easing water woes facing the capital city.
