Awe-Struck Couple, Speaks Out On Jah Prayzah Gatecrashing Wedding
Award-winning musician Jah Prayzah made headlines last month when he gatecrashed a couple’s wedding and made a surprise performance.
In a really sweet gesture, the crooner serenaded the ecstatic bride and groom who were not even expecting it.
After hearing people screaming, the newly wedded couple was nervous on what could have gone wrong on their special day and to their surprise, their favourite artiste Jah Prayzah was standing at the entrance who then started singing his hit Chengetedza Rudo Rwemoyo wangu.
In an exclusive interview with the tabloid, B-Metro, Terrence Mazalu, and Lindiwe Mthethwa opened up on the surprise visit by Jah Prayzah.
” We were shocked when we saw him. We had just started eating when he took the microphone. My wife was very happy and started screaming. We could not believe our eyes and how lucky we were to have our favourite artiste perform for free at our wedding,” said Mazalu. ” This was the best surprise gift anyone could ask for, it was the icing on the cake,” he added. ” I was still shocked so when I thanked him, I froze and I just said wow! Thanks’. He smiled back and replied,”It was a pleasure.”
Before the Ndini Ndamubata hit-maker took to the stage, he is reported to have first advised the couple about marriage and that the two were lucky because it was a blessing from God.
” Marriage is a good and blessed thing, it should be cherished and not taken lightly. The couple got married today are lucky and blessed, they should cherish their love,” he said.
