Actor and television personality Amanda Du Pont has revealed that her sisters were present on one occasion when rapper Jub Jub violated her.
Jub Jub, born Molemo Maarohanye, handed himself to the Brixton police in July over rape, attempted murder, and assault charges dating back to 2006. The South African Police Service had issued a warrant of arrest against him.
The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court subsequently granted Jub Jub R10 000 bail. He denied the allegations, claiming she was mad at him for exposing her cheating.
The court postponed the Uyajola 9/9 host’s case to 8 November in August.
Amanda Du Pont decided to open the case in July after initially accusing the rapper in 2021 after his massively viral appearance on Podcast And Chill with MacG. In the interview, the rapper bragged about smashing Amanda.
The actress felt triggered and sobbed heartily on Instagram, revealing for the first time that Jub Jub r_ped her.
Sunday World got hold of the police statement with damning allegations by Amanda against the Jub Jub. Du Pont claims that Jub Jub r_ped her several times in 2007 when they dated. She further alleged that he sometimes forcefully did the deed in front of her sisters.
Amanda Du Pont added that the rapper choked her on one occasion and suffocated her until she lost consciousness.
Some South Africans online expressed reservations as Amanda Du Pont told the police that Jub Jub r_ped her in front of her sisters.
