Alois Bunjira Questions Warriors Selection.
Former Warriors and Caps United forward Alois Bunjira has questioned the omission of Gabriel Nyoni from the Warriors squad that will do duty at COSAFA and AFCON tournaments.
Bunjira took to his Facebook account his views. “Not because I support CAPS United, but pafeya, I believe Gabriel Nyoni should have made it in that provisional squad. I even believe he is good enough to be on that plane to Egypt…..and play. “He has all the qualities a coach needs in a winger or forward player..all!!…Speed, technique, tacticful, strong and a great football brain,” he posted.
Granvia, as Nyoni is popularly known in the football circles, is enjoying a purple patch at his new base, Caps United. Nyoni has scored three goals in six matches in the 2019 campaign and has been an instrumental aspect in the Makepekepe hierarchy.
His lightning fast feet have since earned him the tag ‘Minister of Transport’. It seems Gabriel Nyoni is unfazed by the omission.
“To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. So l believe I will get my chance to represent my beloved nation and satisfy everyone who believes in me,” he told SportBrief.
“The coaches selected the ones they feel are capable of representing the nation well and as a nation, we should give them all our support. The coach and his troops have been doing very well. Lets all rally behind them,” he added.
