All set for Patoranking Gig
IKONIK Chronicles are set to host a concert that will feature Nigerian superstar Patoranking and unite various local artists of different genres under one roof.
The concert, which is being promoted by Kayse Connect, is scheduled for April 26 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
Show spokesperson Elton Kurima said the show was a bit special since it is Patoranking’s first time to perform in Zimbabwe.
“Patoranking has never performed in Zimbabwe before and we are excited as a team that we are the first to bring him here.
“This concert is going to be nothing but fireworks considering we have Zim’s finest array of artists performing.
“Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Suluman Chimbetu, ExQ, Takura, Nutty O and Jah Signal will perform during the concert and we are also hosting a band Shabach Tha Band which will bring a different feel to the concert.
“The Dj line-up features Nigerian wheel spinner, Dj Humility together with Dancehall Collective Judgment Yard, C Skillz, Dj Chrxn and Selecta Base,” he said.
He added that since this is such a big event, the biggest challenge is bringing out the best out of what the promoter is trying to bring out.
“As a brand, we are trying to bring out more of good experience and memorable event for the fans than ‘just a show.
“Thus we are putting more time in the actual planning of the event.
“We started preparations in January and all is on course.
“The artists are excited, ExQ and Jah Prayzah have put some very interesting captions on their social media pages about the show in relation to the event,” he said
