This comes a few days after President Mnangagwa ranted about how people were going to face consequences if they refuse to take the Civid-19 vaccine jab.
It is shocking how these ladies were treated by the ZRP police officer starting from the arresting officer to the Officer in charge at a local police station in Dzivarasekwa 2.
The two women were fortunate enough to have a loving boss who rescued them and shared their story.
The Boss wrote:
Hi Wellence please post for me, Two of my employees got arrested in Dzivarasekwa.
The arresting officer, known as Mike, informed them they were arrested for getting into a kombi isina kunzi zupco.
I then called Dzivarasekwa police station and spoke to a “seargent major” anonzi “ngururu” then he told me they got arrested for hitchhiking.
I protested and they referred me to the inspector Matope officer in charge of operations. He then told me their charge was a failure to maintain social distance in a vehicle which is a public space.
So to avoid further stress for these two ladies l agreed to pay fine under protest.
Has anyone ever been charged for this crime? What does the law say? All the officers refused to show me this law.
