18 people have succumbed to the infamous coronavirus, bringing the total number of people who have died due to COVID-19 to 1382.
This was revealed by the Ministry of health in a daily update that stated that Bulawayo had the highest number of new cases yesterday after recording 23 new cases.
The update also stated that 114 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19:
As of 10 February 2021 @1500hrs, 114 hospitalised cases: 7 asymptomatic, 59 mild and moderate, and 41 severe with 7 in intensive care units.
The same update stated that Bulawayo, Manicand, and Mashonaland West recorded 3 deaths each and the highest number of recoveries were recorded in Harare while the highest number of tests were conducted in Harare too.
Meanwhile, the government has said the first delivery of the vaccine Sinopham from China will be in the country on Monday 15 February.
