ZIMBABWE BUS DRIVER BUSTED WITH 16 PASSPORTS AT BEITBRIDGE BORDER POST
A Zimbabwean bus driver was reportedly caught with 16 Zimbabwean passports at Beitbridge Border Post by the SA Revenue Service (SARS) scanner officials.
The bus driver allegedly put the passports in his bag and the scanner rang several times indicating that there were suspicious items in the bag.
The driver was turned over to the authorities and a search was conducted. The authorities are said to have found the passports which had the arrivals and departures stamps from the South African immigration department.
The issue was referred to the immigration supervisors prompting a case of fraud to be opened. The driver was allegedly locked up.
